Why hub-priced and per-location tools frustrate retail ops

Honest limits (read these before you switch)
No POS / inventory / ERP. Keep the register and stock desk. Pebb owns who’s on, punch, chat, and forms — not the SKU tree.
No payroll. Timesheets leave the store. Payroll stays payroll.
No LMS and no hiring ATS. Keep your training and recruiting stack if those are load-bearing.
GPS is a stamp, not a map of the afternoon. Clock-in can GPS-stamp and optionally require near a branch — not live breadcrumbs.
Offline does not fully work. Mobile needs a connection. Dead-zone stockrooms are a real reason to keep a tool that caches a full shift.
