What are Topics?

Think of Topics as categorized folders inside the Knowledge Library—each one designed to keep related content neatly grouped together so it’s easier to access, share, and manage. Whether you’re creating a hub for onboarding, storing brand guidelines, outlining policies, or sharing team rituals, Topics help you give structure to your content.

Each Topic can hold multiple posts, and each post can include everything you already love in Pebb:

Just like any regular post in Pebb, but now grouped beautifully under a category that makes sense for your team.

A Built-In Gift: The “Pinned Posts” Topic

To make your experience even smoother, every workspace now includes a default Topic called “Pinned Posts”. It automatically collects all the posts that have been pinned from the home feed—those important updates, team shoutouts, key links, or reminders you didn’t want to lose track of.

This means that even if a pinned post was shared weeks ago, it’s now available inside your Knowledge Library under Topics—easy to revisit, react to, and share again.

Topics are perfect when you want to:

Unlike traditional folders or wikis, Topics feel alive. Every post is dynamic and interactive, with the ability to react, comment, and keep things updated in real-time.

Where to Find It

You’ll find Topics inside your Knowledge Library. Admins can create a Topic, give it a name (like “Onboarding 101” or “Security Policies”), and start adding posts immediately.
You can add media, tag colleagues, and—just like in your main feed—spark discussions within each Topic.

And remember: the “Pinned Posts” Topic is already there, ready to go.
